The traditional Mickey Mouse ears have gone high tech. Starting June 15, Disney California Adventure will sell “Glow with the show” ears that light up with special color patterns for World of Color and the Mad T Party.

Disney has not announced pricing for these high tech mouse ears, but you can expect that the high tech and “limited edition” fashion accessories will be a few dollars more than the standard black mouse ears.
Here’s how Disney describes the “magic” of these high tech mouse ears:
Using the latest interactive technology, our newest ear hats will quite literally let you “Glow with the Show.” Watch as the iridescent ears change to complement and harmonize with what’s happening around you, allowing you to become a part of the magic of our nighttime spectaculars, such as “World of Color” and Mad T Party. But that’s not all – there are lots of surprises in store when you visit Disney California Adventure park with Glow with the Show Ears.
As an example of what to expect, during World of Color your Glow with the Show Ears will become a set of pixels that dance and play along with each show sequence in a bright and dynamic way. In one scene, you will become part of the ocean with the Little Mermaid and in another scene your har becomes a shining galaxy of stars for WALL-E and Eve.
