Disney has announced that Disneyland Resort hotel guests are now eligible for Extra Magic Hour mornings 7 days a week. During early entry, hotel guests may enter either park or park hop if their tickets allow. Previously, the Extra Magic Hour perk was only available to hotel guests on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays for Disney California Adventure, and Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for Disneyland. The change went into effect this week and is scheduled to last through September 13, 2012.
The Annual Passholder early entry program is still in effect, but due to the expansion of Extra Magic Hour, Passholders will now be mixed in with hotel guests for early entry. If you have an Annual Passport, just remember that you must pre-register for early entry; Disneyland Resort hotel guests do not need to preregister for early entry.

I’m glad they made this change. I know it is a small thing, but the early entry seemed a little more crowded now that they are letting Annual Passholders in too. At least this way we’re getting some extra bang for the buck when we pay to stay at a Disney hotel.
