When we saw all of the children in our neighborhood, my wife and I both thought “Halloween is going to be fun” and “we’re going to need a lot of candy this year.” I am guessing that we will see plenty of Elsa and Anna costumes this year in addition to many Marvel and DC superheroes. Of course, you can never go wrong dressing as a pirate, ghosts, witch, or vampires for Halloween.
Often times, a costume can become a plaything that lasts well beyond Halloween. If your children often play dress up, it can make a lot of sense to purchase a high quality children’s costume, like the ones sold by Chasing Fireflies. Your child will not only look great while collecting candy around the neighborhood, but they will also have fun wardrobe items that can help spark their imaginations any day of the year.
Maybe it was the idea of a sword or a parrot on his shoulder, but my son chose a pirate costume this year. The pirate scoundrel costume from Chasing Fireflies came with everything he needed for adventure on the high seas. The pullover shirt, tunic, and striped pants were made from high quality materials, which really impressed me and my wife. The costume came with a faux leather belt, red sash, and a faux leather hat. Chasing Fireflies even included an eye-patch, gold hoop earring, and boot covers with the costume.
We thought the costume was a great value considering the quality of the materials and that it included 10 pieces. It was far better than anything we had seen at the local Halloween store.
To complete my son’s pirate outfit, we added the pirate sabre and parrot pal, which are sold separately by Chasing Firelies. And just like with the costume, these accessories were quality products. The sword was better than what I could have made in my wood shop and the parrot pal dutifully took its perch on my son’s shoulder. These items really enhanced what was already a pretty neat costume.
I know that many parents have been trying to find the elusive Elsa dress or Anna dress from Disney’s Frozen. Chasing Fireflies has these dresses available and even have an Olaf costume too. There are cheaper versions of these costumes out there, but the reviews are justifiably brutal when they call out things like tulle that feels scratchy skin or seams that come apart. If you purchase a costume through Chasing Fireflies, you know it will be something your child will feel comfortable playing in and that it will last for a long time to come.
Chasing Fireflies has an amazing selection of children’s clothing and children’s costumes in addition to the ones I have mentioned.
