Based on the popularity of the Disney Princess makeovers, Disneyland will soon offer a pirate makeover for little boys and girls beginning September 1.
The pirate makeovers will be offered in New Orleans Square, near the Blue Bayou in the Court of Angels. We have to admit that we’re more than a little sad to see one of our favorite nooks within New Orleans Square become a merchandise location. But the new Pirates league makeovers will likely be a big hit. And if the concept is a hit, we assume Disney will move it into a permanent location inside one of the empty shops within New Orleans Square.
The Pirates League will offer three different packages for guests to choose from: Jake and the Never Land Pirates, First Mate, and Empress (created especially for all the pirate princesses). Packages range from $29.95 – $34.95 (slightly more than a “buck an ear”).
As part of the experience, there will also be a small area where your child pirate can learn some swashbuckling tips from Captain Jack’s crew.
