Whenever my son has friends at the house, it is just a matter of time before he breaks out the box of dart blasters. The kids scatter across the house firing foam darts around corners and from the top of the stairs. The dog goes crazy. The darts get everywhere. And they always have a great time.
Buzz Bee Toys just released the Air Warriors Covert Squad dart blasters and they were a welcome addition to my son’s arsenal. The dart blasters allow you and a friend to stay in secret communication while you track down your targets thanks to a built in walkie talkie. You can use the included earbuds to communicate discretely or you can just use the built in speaker for communication in the open (like a speakerphone). The walkie talkies have two channels (for multiple team play) and a range of 300 feet.
My son loved that the dart blaster has a realistic bolt loading action. You drop in the foam dart, pull back the lever, and then you can fire up to 100 feet away. We were both super impressed with how far the Covert Squad dart blasters could fire. We have a large backyard and the darts easily traveled the length of the yard with plenty of speed to hit the target. The set of two dart blasters comes with eight long distance darts. We have a supply of foam darts from other toys that worked as well.
If your child loves to wage war with foam darts, the Air Warriors Covert Squad dart blasters are fun toys for playing with friends. The covert walkie talkies allow teams to communicate and the long range darts ensure you can always hit your target even from far away. The dart blasters retail for $24.99 and can be found at Target, Amazon, and most toy stores.
