Begin the countdown. Disney has officially named June 15 as the grand opening date for Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure park!
In a post on the Disney Parks blog, Tom Staggs, Chairman Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, shared his experience touring the new land. We were also given a look at the ride vehicles for Luigi’s Flying Tires and Radiator Springs Racers.
It is also worth noting that Buena Vista Street and the Carthay Circle Theater will be opening along with Cars Land on June 15. This will be a huge change for Disney California Adventure, as the main entrance has been a giant construction zone for months. It is exciting to think that the construction walls and detours will go away and that a new adventure is just around the corner.
