The Swan and Dolphin is one of our favorite resorts at Walt Disney World, even though it isn’t a Disney owned property. The location is within easy walking distance of Epcot and you get access to the Disney transportation system. The hotel has a unique design, which makes it a lot more fun to stay at than a standard box design hotel. Also, the resort is owned by the Starwood Hotels group which means you can earn reward points during your stay.
My wife is a teacher and we have stayed at the Swan and Dolphin twice. We had a good experience both times and enjoyed walking over to the Boardwalk restaurants in the evenings (though the Swan and Dolphin does have several great restaurants). This is a very nice place to stay and this discount rate is a fantastic deal.
