When my wife and I decided to build our dream house last year, we each had a shortlist of “must haves” for the new home. Onelink Safe & Sound is an intelligent smoke & carbon monoxide alarm that can send push notifications to your devices (phone, tablet, etc). It’s a great way to know if there is an emergency whether you are home or away.
I like the Onelink Safe & Sound because you can program the voice alerts to say the type and location of the danger. When we first moved into our house, we had a false alarm because construction dust got into one of the smoke detectors. It took us a few minutes to identify which alarm was sounding (it can be hard to tell when the sound echoes in the house) and when we final identified the source we didn’t know the source of the danger. Was it detecting smoke or a carbon monoxide issue? With our old system, it was simply a guessing game. I was able to install the Onelink Safe & Sound in just a few minutes. All I needed was a ladder and a screwdriver. I then used the Onelink Home app to complete the setup and to connect the device to my Amazon account (for Alexa controls).
