How Can I Celebrate a Birthday at Disneyland?

Birthdays at DisneylandThere are many great ways to celebrate a birthday at the Disneyland Resort. Some of the best ideas are free:

  • Stop by City Hall on Main Street USA in Disneyland for a personalized Happy Birthday sticker. Whenever a cast member sees the sticker on your child’s shirt, they’ll wish your kid a happy birthday.
  • If it is your child’s birthday, the cast member will often mention that Goofy left a special message. They will then dial a number and hand your child the phone so they can hear Goofy sing them Happy Birthday.
  • The Guest Relations staff inside City Hall can also help you get an autographed 8×10 photo of your favorite Disney character. Often times, the characters will personalize the autograph with a happy birthday greeting.

For an added cost, there are several ways to celebrate:

  • Most table service restaurants at the Disneyland Resort offer birthday cakes for sale. Just ask your waiter for details.
  • The Plaza Inn restaurant at Disneyland park offers birthday parties. Call (714) 781-DINE to make a reservation and for pricing information.

But most importantly, a trip to Disneyland is a great birthday gift in itself. Take lots of photos and put together a memory book of the special day.
