Friday evenings are usually the time when my family orders pizza and watches a show on Netflix. I am usually worn out after a long day at work and my son is ready to drop after a day of school followed by soccer practice. It is kind of nice to relax a bit with the family at the end of the week and lately there has been more family shows than ever for us to watch together.
One of the shows I am most excited about is Fuller House, which is the return of the characters from the show Full House (I can feel the nostalgia setting in already). Stephanie, DJ and Kimmy Gibbler will be on the TV again beginning February 26. I remember watching the original show religiously every week and am looking forward to sharing this fun show with my son.
The Fuller House characters also have their own Netflix “collections” to celebrate the show launch. Next time your family is gathering around the TV, look to TV Time for the Fam and other Fuller House-inspired title collections to find something everyone can agree on:

The other new item from Netflix that really takes me back to my childhood is the upcoming Pee-wee Herman movie, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, which is scheduled to premiere in March 2016.
I remember watching Paul Reubens every Saturday morning and when I worked at Disneyland, his voice was unmistakeable on the Star Tours attraction. I am really glad to see him reprising the Pee-wee role. This will be the third Pee-wee Herman movie, after Pee-wee’s Big Adventure and Big Top Pee-wee. And lets face it, we could probably all use a little silly nonsense after watching the new season of House of Cards when it comes out on March 4.
There’s nothing better than a “night in” with the family, complete with a pizza delivery and Netflix. The only difficult part is deciding what to watch.
