One of the best parts about a visit to Disneyland is the fireworks. And just in time for Memorial Day weekend, Disneyland fireworks are returning to a nightly performance schedule.
On Friday, the “Magical” fireworks show is coming back to the park for the season. “Magical” began as the summertime display in 2009.
During the slower winter and spring months, fireworks are only shown on weekends and holidays. As the crowds return for summer vacations (many of which start during Memorial Day weekend), Disney ramps up the entertainment offerings.
Officially, the Disneyland Resort begins its summer season June 15 when Disney California Adventure’s $1 billion makeover is unveiled. That includes the new Cars Land and Buena Vista Street entrance corridor.
The 13-minute “Magical” fireworks show features both a flying Tinker Bell and Dumbo and has narration by Eden Espinosa, who starred in the musical, “Wicked.”
We love to watch the fireworks from the middle of Main Street, where we can get a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Matterhorn. But a few of our friends like watching the fireworks from “it’s a small world.” Where is your favorite spot to watch Disneyland’s fireworks?
