With all of the focus on Cars Land in California, you might wonder if Radiator Springs would ever make its way to Florida. We have some good news, as we are excited to share some photos from the new Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Cars rooms which opened earlier this week.
Just like the Radiator Springs in California, this new hotel wing is nothing short of amazing. To get there, just head through the resort’s main lobby, make a right-hand turn and hop on Route 66 – a winding path that draws you into Ornament Valley and to the small town of Radiator Springs. This winding “road” gives you plenty of opportunities to pause and admire the beautiful desert landscape.
The courtyard is also sprinkled with tourist stops that are taken straight out of the film, including Tow Mater’s Tow & Salvage, the Wheel Well Motel, and Sally’s Cozy Cone Motel.
The “Cars” courtyard is also populated with the residents of Radiator Springs, with Lightning McQueen, Mater, Sally, Ramone (above), Doc Hudson, Luigi, Guido and Fillmore waiting to greet you.

This hotel seems like it is one of te best deals at WDW because of the family suites. We have always had to either book two rooms or stay in a fort wilderness cabin to make room for everyone. The Art of Animation resort seems to be a much better fit with what we need. And the rooms are pretty cute too!!
