Here’s a few photos from today’s filming of Saving Mr. Banks at Disneyland, including a look at Tom Hanks as he portrays Walt Disney.
This photo gives us a look at the extras as they walk past Sleeping Beauty Castle while dressed in period attire. I assume they will edit out the snow for the film.
This one was obviously taken through a screen of some sort (or a horrible Instagram filter), but gives us another look at Tom Hanks, this time while he is on break from filming.
Here’s another shot of the extras, this time as they cross the Sleeping Beauty Castle drawbridge. Most of the central plaza hub was closed today for the filming. The Astro Orbitor was also closed for most of the day to accommodate filming schedules.
Check out this vintage popcorn cart being wheeled to the set. I love the $0.05 price tag in the window. Now we just need to convince Disneyland to have a retro day and price everything as it was in the 1950s.
Update: LaughingPlace has a ton of great photos from the Saving Mr. Banks filming.
