It is easier to justify a big purchase when it is something you will use every day. It is difficult to think of anything that I use more than my cell phone. I check email on it constantly. I use my phone to keep track of my schedule. I do my banking on my phone. I listen to music using my phone. The list goes on and on.
When I saw that AT&T was offering deals on a few devices for the holidays, it was hard to resist. It is a nice time to get a deal on a device for someone in the family. It is also a great opportunity to treat yourself by getting that smartphone you have always wanted.

AT&T seems to have the best deals on the Nexus 6, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, HTC Desire Eye, Nokia Lumia 830, and HTC One M8 Windows. You can save $50 when you buy the RE by HTC (a lifestyle camera) and the HTC Desire EYE or HTC One (M8) (Android). If you buy a Nokia Lumia 830 smartphone, you can get a free Fitbit Flex, which is great for those new year resolutions.
There are several deals for Samsung devices: The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is $99.99 with the purchase of any Samsung Galaxy 8 smartphone. For Motorola devices, you can save $50 on the Moto 360, Moto Hint or Moto Sliver II when you purchase the Moto X (2nd generation).
Deals on Accessories
I am a fan of the Moto 360, but you can also find deals at AT&T for the LG G Watch R, Kyocera Duraforce, and Timex IRONMAN ONE GPS+. If you want to stay connected with your children, the FiLiP2 is a neat phone/watch combo that is easy for children to operate. I tried out the original FiLiP last year and like the design upgrades they have made with this new model.
