We told you about the new high tech “Glow with the show” Mickey ears that light up with special color patterns for World of Color and the Mad T Party. Now we have some video so you can see this amazing effect in action.
The behind the scenes magic is a radio signal that tells the ears what color and pattern to display. When the ears are not receiving the radio signal, they will display a random pattern of lights and colors. But as you can see in the video, the effect is rather dramatic when there are hundreds of people wearing these new light up mickey ears.
Disney California Adventure stores are now selling the ears for $25. Since this is a new item (and is expected to be very popular), the supplies may be limited for a while.
Wow. Disney keeps finding new ways to raise the bar. The mouse ears are awesome.
$25 is a little steep, but they do look neat.
